Bulk importing consignments is best used for:
Promotional Activities
Sending the same freight item details (one carton or satchel) to multiple different receivers using the same Carrier Service.
e.g. I want to send a promo box to all my Bunnings partners. I know that I have 50 Bunnings receivers and I have all the receiver details in a list.
OR
I have a new product demo that I want to have it sent to all my branches so they can have their customers test the new product.
Limitations
Bulk importing consignments cannot be used for:
Dangerous Goods consignments
Dangerous Goods need to be officially declared, in OneFlo, due to DG compliance regulations
Dangerous Goods need item level information, which Bulk Uploads does not currently collect
Consolidation
Bulk imported consignments will not consolidate.
Bulk importing consignments is not recommended for:
Small number of consignments
Bulk uploading consignments could take longer than manually filling out the form in OneFlo. It is recommended for customers that frequently have more than 20 consignments created a day.
Returns
Bulk uploading consignments will be treated as an outbound consignment by the system. This could cause issues with the cost of the consignment.
Multiple items per consignment
A consignment will be created for each line in the csv file. If there are multiple items in a line, this will cause the consignment to divide the weight and volume by the number of items.Instructions
